Okra, yellow squash, cucumbers, collards, corn, tomatoes, eggplant, peppers, red potatoes, white potatoes, and sweet potatoes. And pine trees!

About

Okra Paradise Farms is a partnership that grows vegetables, fruits, and pine trees, owned and operated by John S. and Gretchen Quarterman on the land that John grew up on.

Located in northern Lowndes County (Georgia), John and Gretchen were married in Lowndes County in 1993 and moved there permanently in 2007.

Most of the farm is a longleaf pine forest, and a small field is focused on vegetables, including okra, heirloom corn varieties, potatoes and pumpkins.

Mostly these days the vegetables sell themselves locally, as well as to 401 West Restaurant, St. Marys, Georgia.
