Cherry Bowl from OPF log –Bob Gronko 2025-03-27

Yesterday, Bob Gronko sent a picture of the bowl he made from a cherry log.

He took a couple of the logs you see in this picture.

They came from the cherry tree I had to cut off the top of the corn crib after Hurricane Helene blew it onto there. Continue reading

Boat rack, cherry logs, child labor 2024-11-27

After I chainsawed a cherry tree off the corncrib and dropped some cherry logs on the boat rack, I screwed it back together almost straight.

Yet another clearing task after Hurricane Helene: get that cherry tree off the corn crib roof.

Turns out we do have one tree on one roof after Hurricane Helene.
