In case anybody has forgotten Hurricane Helene:

This is directly in front of our house.

And in the cypress swamp.

Foggy morning daybreak.

River was the only dog of the four who would go in that cold water this morning.

Best Investment Ever because these culverts carrying the overflow from the cypress swamp make the back driveway possible.

These harbingers of true spring have been growing in this spot for years.
